Multicultural Education Pavilion - Equity Diversity Reform The Multicultural Pavilion is an internationally-recognized Web site full of resources for artists and activists dedicated to equity and social justice in schools and society. It was conceived and developed by Paul C. Gorski in 1995, making it the oldest of the on-going EdChange projects. And in some ways, it is more of a collection than a single project. It includes:

  • the Teachers Corner, with curricular and pedagogical tools for educators at all levels;
  • the Social Justice Speeches archive, with full-text versions of historic speeches related to diversity, equity, and social justice;
  • the EdChange Research Room, with original articles and essays about education, diversity, equity, and social justice;
  • a collection of exercises and activities that can be adapted for classroom or workshop use;
  • access to dozens of printable lists, tools, and fact sheets related to philosophies of equity, diversity, and social justice in ourselves, our schools, and our societies;
  • the Multicultural Awareness Quiz and online and/or printable assessment of the ways in which we are mislead by the media and other sources;
  • Voices!, EdChange's online, intercultural poetry e-journal;
  • a huge and growing collection of quips and quotations about education, equity, diversity, and social justice;
  • Multicultural Paths, a vetted guide to Web sites, categorized for easy navigation; and
  • a variety of other resources, interactive possibilities, and educational tools.

SoJust.net Document History of Social Justice and Civil Rights SoJust.net is the newest EdChange project. It is the only document history of social justice, civil rights, equity, peace, and activism to be found online. Uncover the history of anti-racism, suffrage, the gay rights movement, labor activism, and other movements through historic speeches, song lyrics, poetry, essays, and other documentary artifacts related to social justice. And like our other online projects, SoJust.net is absolutely free!
